Dancing with Cherry Trees

A picnic lunch at the park, sunshine, pink blossoms and family ~ what a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon!   Our family has a big picnic tradition, Husband and I are always eating out at our local park when the weather is nice, it’s one of our favourite ways to enjoy the outdoors.

We often prefer a quick grab’n’go lunch, but one of these days I’d love to hunt down a vintage picnic wicker basket set and a blue gingham picnic blanket!  Then we can go all out with the food ~ ham, cheese and tomato sandwiches, fruit slices, fruit cake {a firm favourite of the men} and anything else we can think of!  So dears, what are you favourite picnic foods?  Any particularly tasty recipes you’d like to share?  I am sure we’d all love to hear them!
